Bianca Theodore
As a Civil Rights Investigator for the Department of Equity and Civil Rights Compliance, Bianca provides unbiased, neutral, and trauma informed investigative services for Emory University. In this role, she investigates staff, faculty, and student complaints of discrimination and/or harassment. Bianca joined Emory in October of 2026.
Bianca is a licensed attorney with experience in the public and private sector. Prior to joining Emory, she worked in private practice. Before her time in private practice, she worked for the federal government at the Social Security Administration’s Office of General Counsel handling employment discrimination issues. Bianca became an attorney because she has always had a heart for civil rights work, and she interned at the EEOC and the ACLU in law school.
Bianca grew up in Atlanta, and she is a proud Georgia State University “double panther.” She earned both her B.A. in Journalism and her J.D. from Georgia State University.
