Hanna Scherer

Hanna Scherer joined the Department of Title IX as a Case Manager in January 2026. Prior to joining Emory, Hanna worked as a business litigation attorney at an Athens law firm. During her time in law school, Hanna worked for two semesters at the Wilbanks CEASE Clinic where she represented survivors of child sexual abuse and exploitation in juvenile court dependency proceedings and petitions for vacatur under Georgia’s Survivors First Act.

Hanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. She is licensed by the State Bar of Georgia.
