Alicia Young

Alicia Young joined the Department of Equity and Civil Rights Compliance as a Case Manager in January 2025. She is dedicated to ensuring that all individuals are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect in compliance with Emory’s Equal Opportunity and Discriminatory Harassment Policy throughout the investigation process.

As a Case Manager, Alicia is committed to providing comprehensive case management, including overseeing case progress, maintaining accurate records, and offering investigative support.

With a strong background in legal services and client-based case management, Alicia is skilled at collaborating with diverse stakeholders to address complex issues and achieve fair, timely resolutions. She is committed to staying informed about evolving civil rights regulations and best practices, continuously enhancing her ability to support the DECRC.

Outside the case management role, Alicia enjoys blogging and providing consultation to those with a desire to advocate for their wellness within the healthcare system, specifically those within marginalized communities.
