Jean-Jacques Credi currently serves as the Assistant Director for Educational Programs for the Department of Equity and Civil Rights Compliance. In this role, Jean-Jacques fulfills a critical leadership function by ensuring delivery of high-quality training and learning experiences across the institution in compliance with mandates per state and federal law and university policies as they relate to civil rights and equal employment. These learning experiences are essential to creating a safe and legal learning and work environment for students, faculty and staff. 

Before joining Emory University, Jean-Jacques served in the public education sector as an educator, school leader and consultant. Jean-Jacques facilitated advances in academic outcomes for students providing extensive leadership coaching, program management and data analysis. He has worked with national organizations to further advance educational excellence, effective instructional practices and school improvement structures. Jean-Jacques’s passion is to foster high learner engagement through participant-based facilitation, powerful storytelling, guided inquiry and deep self-reflection.

Jean-Jacques holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Rochester, New York, an MA in Education from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana and a Specialist Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from the University of Georgia, Valdosta.
