David Goetsch

Currently with Emory University’s Department of Equity and Inclusion serving the last 9 years as a strategic partner in support of the faculty compliant search process for new hires and promotions across the entire enterprise. David is responsible for creating and implementing the university wide standards in faculty hiring decisions and their alignment with the Affirmative Action Plans of the community. He collaborates as a business partner with the enterprise on the implementation of the applicant tracking system for faculty hiring and the compliance of all federal regulations.

David began his Emory career in 2008 where he performed national recruitment searches for upper level and hard to fill positions within Emory University.

CAAP certified and PHR certified. David graduated from the University of South Carolina with an Associates in hotel, restaurant, and tourism management. He is currently pursuing a Masters in History at Georgia State University.
